A dark alley

A dark alley,

dim lights,

two shadows,

entangled,

merged

the lights flickered

their souls entangled,

deep, deep into the alley

creaking in the wooden steps

A third appeared,

A soulless shadow,

yet,

The two souls once all tangled

were now apart,

as one disappeared

along with the third

leaving a hollow body,

Mindlessly numb.

The lights stopped flickering

and it all was gone.
