'Am I who you see?'

Can you feel it when I think about you?

Can you hear me like I hear you?

Can you listen to the words I speak?

Can you tell me if I’m strong or weak?

Can you hear me whisper?

They’re all telling me to be her,

But you’re still here telling me

I’m not you not anymore, see.

Innocence, gone

Immaturity, lost

I gave you up and look at what it cost.

But I need to know If I’m who you hoped

You’d see,

when you looked in the mirror in years ahead,

Do you see me?

'Selfish'

I sit and vent,

For hours straight

For little things

That never stay

And every time

I feel that way

It hurts but I never say.

I know there are people who hurt more

Way more than me

I sometimes think I am selfish

If I cry for no one but me

But its okay to let it all out

Every once in a while

It’s alright if It’s all about you, sometimes.
