What does it mean I asked myself

When someone says

You aren’t enough

What do they mean

When they judge

As though you are an object

That would not budge

What do they mean

When they say

You aren’t enough

Are you a figment of their opinions?

What does it mean

To ultimately break free

Unrestricted and autonomous

From them all saying you aren’t enough

And finally seeing

You’re more than enough

Unrestricted and autonomous

True to yourself and the one’s that you trust

The pleasure of truly breaking free

From the strings and threads all tangled

Twisted and intertwined

Each saying you’re not enough

The tranquility and ultimate bliss

That comes when you notice

That the threads and strings are simply meaningless

When you duck and escape or float above it all

So what do they mean

When they say you aren’t enough

It doesn’t matter does it?

You’re not a figment but a whole

Unrestricted and self-sufficient
