She felt her world crumbling in front of her eyes - to put it in one sentence. A pain of realization and of fear. She needed to sit down. Slowly walking toward the couch, step by step, she sat down and gripped the sides of the couch. Breathing properly was getting hard, her head was pounding. A feeling indescribable but probably familiar. She felt afraid, useless, overwhelmed and a mess would probably describe it best. Everything was out of control, her life, her work. She clutched her hair with both her hands, frustrated. What would she do now? Every second it got harder and harder to breathe and her mind couldn't process anything that was going on. She felt hopeless, desperate. Craving fresh air, she rushed outside and in an attempt to take in more air to calm herself she took a few deep breaths. Her chest felt tightened, breathing was getting even more difficult. her brain is filled with disarranged thoughts and emotions not able to find a way to express themselves. Her face, buried in the warmth of her palms, she burst into tears and now, she didn't know how to stop them. Anxiety is common and shouldn't be secluded from other emotions. It is important and necessary to spread awareness about it. Anxiety can be a lot to deal with, especially if not under control. Society should be accepting and understanding about issues like these without shaming or terming inferior. Anxiety and stress go hand in hand - each of them like satan in a smock. In disguise, until you notice what it's doing to you. All we can do now is spread awareness and understand how it should be dealt with and how it shouldn't be something a person doesn't feel comfortable talking about. No problem is too small, something that might seem unreasonable to you might be tearing someone else to pieces. It is important to understand and educate yourself on issues like these.
