Lock and key

They all think they know me,

think they figured out what they see

that's not even close, not really

they think they cracked the lock but they still don't have the key

What's worse, is they expect things from me,

and when it doesn't happen, they judge me sceptically

They assume they know more, more than what they see

but when it turns around, the fingers point at me

After years and years, they think they figured out what they see

they think they know better, way better than me

but when that's not the case, the burning jealousy,

makes them wonder, really, who is she?
