Underwater

A push,

and I was flying

into the water

a splash,

a force that pulled me

deeper and deeper

I could hear them screaming

but everything else was numb

I could hear them pleading

but it felt like I've had enough

a second later

I stopped trying

I let go

of the breath, I was holding

and now I am underwater

it was chilly,

but everything in me

was getting hotter

and now I'm still underwater

my throat burning

my skin healing

suffocating

the tears all camouflaged

my heart getting lighter

my mind flashing all my

memories

and now I'm underwater

it slowly got hard to see

now I'm underwater

I couldn't even try to breathe

I'm still underwater

and now you can't see me

I'm still underwater.....
